This new specialized institutional building to help children with autism spectrum disorders is a unique project, in the service of a portion of the community with behavioral disorders requiring significant support. This project will become a standard not only for help centers for young people with ASD, but for schools in general. It will be the first establishment of the Grandir Autrement training center.

This 4 storey school is designed for a capacity of 60 educators and 120 kids, teenagers and young adults from 4 to 21 years old. The L-shaped building will include an interior courtyard and exterior spaces to give the studends a direct access to nature. Several classrooms, interactive rooms, sensory rooms, isolation rooms, motor skills rooms conference rooms, bistro cafes, apartments, gymnasiums, and even a bathroom, swimming pools and spas will be integrated into the layouth to develop the autonomy of the students with a neurodevelopmental disorder. The project to integrate the principles of the TEACCH method (Treatment and education of children with autism or suffering from related communication disabilities), greatly improving the services available to young people with ASD in the region.
